Te Reo Takiwa o Tautoko was an aggregate exertion of Iwi, from nearby hapu and whanau, to set up a Radio Station as a method for offering voice to the general population inside of the Hokianga and encompassing groups and as a guarantee to the restoration of Te Reo me ona Tikanga.
Built up in 1983 Te Whare Awhina o te Iwi Community Trust turned into the spine to the goals of the nearby Iwi.
